as some of you know I have an RC boat. I found this while browsing flickr and it seems like it would be pretty easy to do something similar for my boat:
wifi router attached to a servo-controller and servos:

I would use a smaller version, I don't really need a router. Probably http://gumstix.com/ plus a SSC (Serial Servo Controller) with speed stepping. Oh and I won't forget the antenna and my orinoco :)

I have looked at gumstix for possible embedded projects, they are pretty awesome. I know a guy who used one for a bipedal robot. If I find a link I will post it.
