im sure at least all of you use vlc so maybe you all can help me out since i cant find the answer on the vlc forums.
basically what is happening is that when i try to play a movie in vlc, sound plays but the program crashes, no video. the dll that is always listed as the problem is either libvlc.dll if i havent cleared the cache and preferences folder, or msvcrt.dll if i have cleared the cache and preferences or uninstalled-reinstalled.
the only solution they list on the vlc forums is the delete the vlc folder in the documents and settings/application data folder. which i have done and does not work. everything is up to date so i am clueless as to what it could be. possibly a conflict with my video drivers?

wait, i figured it out. for some reason it all of a sudden doesn't like my crossfire set up. when crossfire is enabled, it crashes. when i turn crossfire off, it works. i still want to know why all of a sudden it did it. i mean, ive had crossfire enabled ever since i've built this rig and never had a problem. i've even been using this latest version of vlc since it was released with no problems.
