I found the whole thing revolting. I could break it down into cinematography, plot, characters and effects, but that would be redundant.

I saw Brazil in the theater! :D
i didn't really especially like a scanner darkly. the cell shading was nice and different, actually thought it was the actors themselves in a couple scenes.

Probably because it was. (Sort of.) The entire film was shot in live-action, then animators traced over each frame of the original footage to give it that weird look. :-o
