i guess geminids is the best visually, according to a nasa bro. i'll have to put that on my calendar, too.
9:00-11:00 pm = prime viewing hrs.

wired said 1am local time. i think everyone has a different opinion.
There's no way 9-11pm is prime viewing where I'm at :X I had a great time though at about midnight to three!
it might not be dark enough to see some of the smaller ones at 9-11pm.
it's definitely not dark enough to see most of them at 9-11pm where I am.
