I put together a playlist of stuff that is mostly standard trance. There might be some additional fitting genres for any given track but it's all on the main trance theme.

Sweet, well i'm less of a fan now that they've been doing that hard rock/metal stuff. I did see them live with that stuff and it was pretty cool, but quite a bit different. They definitely have their own sound!

Hard rock/metal stuff? I wouldn't say that adding a few guitar sounds here and there immediately classifies them as "hard rock/metal stuff" :)

Anyway, IM is one the few electronic groups I *really* appreciate. They take the best of the genre and triple it.

Oh come on they use a full rock/metal setup and shit on stage! They've got a legitimate band playing on sets of instruments, not just a dj. I think they are decent, but their new stuff isn't something I'd regularly listen to. No offence, I used to love them when they were more into their very psychedelic trance sound. Earlier on they used the 'guitar sounds' like you were saying in a more 'electronic' fashion.

I've never seen them live ... I guess perceptions can differ, coming from a more "metal background" it doesn't sound very "metal" to me at all ... More Trance + a few guitar sounds ...

I like both styles by the way. I got into goa trance/psy trance back in 2000/2001 orso. I don't really listen to it anymore, except for IM.

By the way, I downloaded "Wxfdswxc2" by Raoul Sinier as a random download from waffles the other day. I'm really digging this album! (It's electronic, but not really trance).
