i don't distinguish between mainstream and (the real stuff), it's all hip-hop, just of varying quality.

i like a lot of experimental anticon stuff, old def jux (i'm convinced el-p is a genius), and some old school de la/tribe.

hip-hop is one of my favorite genres. I'm into mostly underground kind of stuff, and a lot of old school.

a sampling: Hilltop Hoods, Edan, Nas, Rakim, El-P, Prince Paul, De La Soul, KRS-One, Mos Def, Kanye West, Talib Kweli, Mr. Lif, Kool G Rap.
