So I don't have too many things with names given to them. My car for example has none, I just don't think it has personality enough. Icarus, on the other hand has plenty and I don't mind naming computers. I was thinking about naming my camera now, my Nikon D80 in hopes that with the name and a bit of personalization the camera thieves would be less inclined to take an obviously unique piece of equipment. Oh I should mention that I'm planning on some stickers.
I'm looking around for Greek names and I saw Nikon or Νικων -- that looks kinda cool but I don't like naming it after the company. I'm having trouble finding a short enough name. I kind of mashed some ideas here: Philophos or Φιλωφως which is kinda neat because of it's roots, as well as the uppercase Phi being a initials memetic for dp.
