I'm looking for a new camera for my trip. I don't know much in this department.
I'm definitely looking for something small and I'm not a good photographer but just want to capture some of the people/places I'm going.

I'm currently looking at the Canon SD1000 or the Olypus 770SW or 790SW.


Can anyone else recommend something different?

i'd recommend the canon sd750 (viewfinders seem worthless to me on point and shoots).

but the sd1000 would be fine as well. it's slightly smaller, but the sd750 drops the viewfinder and adds a huge lcd.
