Don't know if any of you ski or board, but I'm pumped for winter this year. my job is gonna keep me in butte for the majority of the winter so I decided to finally get some skiing equipment so that I'm not sitting on my ass the entire time.
Went out today and got new $250 mountain hardware jacket, K2 helmet, goggles with tint that matches my jacket, and new snow pants as well.
This weekend my parents will be coming up to butte and hooking it up for my birthday with, hopefully, some bad ass K2 ski's. All thats left will be some boots and a season pass to some resorts. What's even better is that it's lookin like I will have a in on some free lift tickets to big sky and moonlight for a couple weekends.

im pretty good, but it has been a year since i last skied so it may take some time to get back in the grooze. im not to sure on bindings yet, kinda gonna wait and see what ski's and what boots i pick up.
i'm so down with skiing... mind you in ontario there is nothing big next to stuff in Quebec and Vermont. i'm a licensed Canadian Ski Instructor... yay

from what i hear, moonlight is the most amazing skiing in montana. i cant wait to try it out.
I wish there was easy access skiiing in NYC all we have his shit like hunter within relative range.

i'm doing alpine at bridger tomorrow. my first time on skis in ten years.
and i won't have goggles.. just sunglasses with croakies. hopefully it's not too awful like that. i don't think i'll be tearing through powder in the bowls, though.

bridger was kinda icy today, but it started snowing when we left. i might go again tomorrow.

so i rode up a lift with a couple girls, and i was rigging up my cd player for some beats. i dropped my gloves, and the only sure way to get to them was to "tear through one of the bowls." so my fifth run was a bowl without gloves. it wasn't much fun.
but skiing with music is fun:

never broke -10 today but the sun was shining and there was no wind. it was beautiful. got some intense practice on some moguls.
so lr, its lookin like ill come down to bozeman on the 26th and then get up skii'n on that sunday if thats cool. i was gonna come down right after work on the 25th which would be me into bozeman at like 4am on the 26th and i really dont want to go skiing on 3 hours of sleep.
