if i was running such a large illegal computer scheme, i'd make sure noone would be able to get evidence off of those computers. at least in the u.s., they can't (unless you're a terrorist suspect ) search your dwelling without you present. so every time you go answer the door, you remove your private keys from RAM.

this is how i operate my life, and i don't even do many illegal things on my computers. i use EFS, private keys, etc. and whenever i walk away from a computer, i remove the keys from ram and lock the computer.

as far as i know, there was nothing illegal about oink.

he was a uk citizen. and i am not sure what the rules are in denmark. but as a uk citizen he's bound by UK law.

I love owning concrete things rather than just having files. and I don't have a good source of lossless music anymore. if I did I might reconsider owning CDs.
larz: I never stopped seeding, mainly because no one would dl from me and my ratio started to suffer. That and I ended up ripping most of my CDs to MP3 320VBR to upload to Oink just to try and keep me from getting banned. At least all the CDs I owned were not on Oink...

while i miss oink, I think its fairly safe to say waffles.fm was ill concieved. Interpol raided oink when it was operated in amsterdam from the uk. There's no reason they will not do the same for waffles.
