Q. Can I use the CrossFire platform to drive multiple displays?
A. Yes, the CrossFire platform will work with ATI’s SurroundView™ multi-monitor technology to enable up to 5 separate displays when not running in CrossFire mode.

hmm, must only be the enternaly or internaly connected crossfire cards. im pretty sure the software enabled crossfire cards cant use multiple monitors because mine cant. i cant even play starcraft or run folding in crossfire mode. whenever i do the ati CCC shuts off crossfire mode untill i stop running those programs.

I edit on a dual setup. Two 30" Studio monitors from Apple. SEXY.
that is sexy.
what is the native resolution on those?

I think 2560x1600 might be TOO much. I'd have to be moving my head all around to see everything on the screens. my dream setup is to have a huge LCD on the wall that I can sit at least six or so feet away from in a chair with a wireless keyboard and mouse.
my realistic dream is to just have a sweet desktop with a 20 or 22" LCD that does 1680x1050.
that will probably not be until my MacBook is dying though, which shouldn't be for a while. the 13.3" widescreen is serving me just fine :).

2560x1600 is just okay when editing 1080i HD footage.
