This is a continuation from the posts I made in Screenshots, but I needed to stop molesting that thread... so I created a new one.
I just rechecked the Apple Support Discussions session post that I made for nostalgia's sake and I seem to have helped a lot of people, and it appears that to this day, people are still getting Mac Pros with this issue, the last poster in that thread is from Oct 9th, 2007 and still has this issue, I therefore decided to take some pictures and redo the document in illustrator.
Anywho, here's the pdf that I assembled detailing the whole process... it's really quite an odd problem, especially considering that it is still occuring...
