aw that's lame. Steam has been pretty good to me in the past about recovering lost CD keys and the like. they had a ton of options to do it by email address, account name, blah blah blah. have you tried any of that crap?
yeah, i sent them my email i used to create the account, a scan of my HL2 and HL1 cd-keys with receipts (I couldn't believe i still had to receipt for HL1 but it was in the box still) for both and the account name and they never replied back. I've email them the stuff like 4 times and for some reason they refuse to get back to me.
huh, that's weird. you can't just use the CD keys to register the product on Steam or whatever...?
