are terrible at their jobs. EVIDENCE:
1. i got shortchanged one dollar when i was poor. :(
2. the girl skipped one item (cost about $1) and instead scanned a more expensive item twice (that cost about $2 each).
3. today, the lady skipped the deodorant and instead scanned my q-tips twice. luckily the deodorant was more expensive than the q-tips, so i got a good deal.
today i wanted to watch and make sure she gets it right, but it's almost impossible when the damn screen reads "target brand" and it goes so fast. and it's not worth it to go back once you notice it, because you have to stand in line forever and the have to get a manager and cause a big ruckus. not to mention it's hard to prove that you're shortchanged. it seems to me that about all you can do is say, "when you count out your till tonight at close, give me a call and bring me a dollar when you notice that you have an extra."

When I worked on a register here was my mindset: I don't give a fuck about you or your purchase; I'm working this shit job and I hate my life; leave me alone.
yesterday i got two screwdrivers for free (worth $4) because he totally missed the barcode and i didn't notice until i was home. gains > losses! woo
