has anyone here ever fasted? if so, post up how long you lasted and for what reason you did this.

i did water only for a week, i was really hungry at the end but it's not that bad. just more of a psychological connection to eating, that was the hardest part.
i thought you lose the sense of hunger after about the third day.
i haven't eaten since 6pm yesterday, but i'm not sure if i'm gonna stick with it. the whole reason for the fasting is because of severe gastrointestinal problems, but my system handles dinner very well last night.

I did once last summer. Went about 56 hours, then I ate some crackers and drank some juice. I plan do to it again at some point, though. I felt much better afterwards.
Breakfast is the most important meal of the day.

I fairly consistently lose the sense of hunger after ~8 hrs.

sometimes i just don't get hungry.... other times i have your cake and eat mine too.
This winter or after christmas my co-workers at the wine store went on a lemon/maple syrup/water cleanse for 14 days. I couldn't imagine doing it, but they all survived with out a scratch. I think one person went a whole month.
My disgusting roommate did a colon cleanse recently. All he was eating was tuna, as far as I could tell, and he insisted on shitting in my bathroom, the filthy fucker. He has his own bathroom!
Yeah but who would colon cleanse in their own bathroom. That's heinous. Grody to the max.
