i had to run up to my office to print a couple pdfs, so i went ahead and parked in one of the campus lots without the proper permit. i'm running up the three flights of stairs to my office, looking out the window occasionally at the parking lot. i see the parking dude drive around, looking at permits. oh no! i quickly print my forms. i run down the stairs, and i see that he has parked and is probably writing my ticket. i run out to my car and drive away quickly before he can stick it under my wiper blade. \o/

Not really. They threatened legal action (they were going to sue me for the full amount of the loan, even though I only missed two payments that were due December 31) so I had to use most of my paycheck to keep my ass from getting sued. So, I've got less than $100 to last me two weeks ... and rent is due.

i'll keep on working on the maxim. i'm not sure if it is about the end result or about the process.
Problem with seeking "the best"/"perfect"/etc of anything, including oneself, is that it's an ongoing pursuit, which is why I believe geekdom is about said pursuit, rather than the end result.

one of my housemates put a plastic plate on a burner and then turned the burner on high. it obviously melted and the inside of the stove started to burn. at that time i noticed the smoke alarm... at first i thought it was part of a song (by the depreciation guild) and then i realized it wasn't.
anyways we used up a few fire extinguishers on it, but it kept on burning. so we called 911. they put it out and put the burned up stove in the backyard.

it supposedly flushes out the toxins and bad shit in your body. its a really high fiber milkshake, and it wards off hunger pretty good. Yesterday was kind of rough but i feel pretty good this morning. i dont feel any more fatigued than usual, and i have been able to concentrate as I normally would. Went to the Gym yesterday and felt great.
Anyways, it gets me out of paying for food for 5 whole days :D and scores points with the gf because she wanted to do it with me ( the cleanse ) and if it makes me more healthy, why the heck not. If anything, I will have a deeper appreciation for every day foods.

My uncle did a body cleanse like that ... only his was much more strict and only involved water mixed with a few things (like sea salt, pepper, etc). Said he felt great after it, but it took nearly a week to get his stomach back to norm.
yeah this one is not strict comparatively. I have the option of having some small snacks inbetween shakes, but only if the hunger is unbearable, which it hasn't been. I ate a piece of brocolli before I hit the gym yesterday :D
