why haven't I posted in here?
I made a thread "what will you be doing ten years from now?" as the flipside of a thread someone else had made, "what were you doing ten years ago?" and I posted the following in it:
maybe having kids or planning on it
having a house
basking in the glory of destroying all evil in the world
hugging somebody
laughing at everything
probably being a teacher or a principal or something cool like that
still listening to propagandhi
i dream of:
* having my disease cured or managed extremely well.
* owning two parcels of land to inhabit when i'm not traveling. one would be particularly suited to summer life (e.g., alaska, southern chile, norway), and the other would be particularly suited to winter life (e.g., central california, southern italy, provence).
* having very small, self-sustaining living structures on each parcel.
* becoming a professor in an economics department, then publishing in a completely different field (e.g., astrophysics, engineering, botany).
* completing a systematic philosophy and having the entire body of work published.
