I know this is possible. Has someone done it? I'm having a HUGE PROBLEM with my macbook. :(

yeah, you'll run into issues (eventually) because of a lack of wear-leveling in ntfs and paging to disk.

basically if you're rescuing a machine you'll be fine but eventually you'll wear out the flash drive.

It's actually impossible to do on a thumbdrive. Or nearly impossible.

Also a bad idea.

My buddy bought me an external enclosure. I'm just gonna buy a 320GB sata drive and put windows externally via Firewire. 1394 FTW!
