it flagged every word at the beginning of a line as wrong and thus wouldn't give me my score.

damn, 99 WPM. I used to be able to break 100 pretty consistently.

Your score: 499 keys per minute ~ 99 words per minute
Language/mode: en
Ranking: Very fast.
Comparison: 4% of 29610 registered TyperA users using this language have typed a better result; 96% have a lower or equal result.

You typed: The empire made the only possible call. Do you not enjoy the untroubled ease of programming beneath its sheltering branches? The zookeepers were alarmed and immediately began combing the zoo for the escaped animal, unaware that it had simply lain down on the sidewalk and had gone to sleep. Churchill, replied the hostess, in this country we ask for white meat or dark meat. I may not get there, but I'm going first class. When I see you, I feel like I'm hungry all over. When IBM recently abandoned some of its original standars and decreed new ones, many of its rivals declared a puritan allegiance to IBM's original faith, and denounced the company as a divisive innovators. At ebb tide I wrote a line upon the sand , and it all my heart

Mistakes: standars(standards), innovators.(innovator.), sand(sand,), ,(and), and(gave)

I tried mytypespeed but didn't realize I had to correct all my errors until I had typed the entire thing with like three errors in it :(.

Playing right now: asemisldkfj

Your score: 369 keys per minute ~ 73 words per minute
Language/mode: en
Ranking: That was fast - you can still improve, though.
Comparison: 18% of 29611 registered TyperA users using this language have typed a better result; 82% have a lower or equal result.

So my wpm increased by 3 from x60 keyboard to desktop. I didn't like the typera test as much, I found the bars distracting.

I thought not being able to see what I was typing on the other one kind of sucked :(.

I'd like to try on a different keyboard. I don't particularly like any of the ones that I have for speed though. maybe I'll try my IBM Model M! that will be insanely noisy though!

I mean, not being able to see if very easily because it was kind of far away from what I was reading.

on my mom's Toshiba laptop (ew):

Your score: 502 keys per minute ~ 100 words per minute
Language/mode: en
Ranking: Very fast.
Comparison: 3% of 29617 registered TyperA users using this language have typed a better result; 97% have a lower or equal result.

You typed: When they eventually check, the prison gurads found that exactly half of the gaol's population was missing At which point the salesman turned to his friend, and said, You unpack while I go and find us a bear. One in a million, perhaps. Much noise has been made about the the worker using drugs, but to date the vast majority of programs end with the simple firing or the not hiring of the abuser. Most public domain software is free, at least at first glance. I just don't want to be there when it happens. I need an energy crunch! Ignorance is never out of style. My geometry teacher was sometimes acute, and sometimes obtuse, but always, always, he was right. SOme might have taken him for a mere apprentice enchanter who had run away from hi

Mistakes: check,(checked,), gurads(guards), missing(missing.), the(rehabilitating), SOme(Some)
