... and let the Earth be silent after ye.
Ok. Today in my creative writing class we workshopped a short story I wrote about two weeks ago, on a whim, and hadn't touched since. I called it "Very Carefully Remove the Veil from Your Face" and no one could say a bad thing about it in class. Well, most of them "didn't get it" and were "confused." I don't see how. I think it's fairly straight forward.
Anyway, have a look-see:

sorry, i guess i "didn't get it" and i am also "confused" by it.
care to shed some light for a willing reader?

Work it out in your head first. What didn't you understand about it? Pick them out, then put them together. Look at it as a whole.
Still doesn't make sense? Good! You understand it now.
i like the bench. but i don't really know what else to think.
and now i finally realize how much you like camus, phi. :o

How much do I like Camus? I've only read 'The Stranger', and it was pretty good. :-/
oh, i thought you liked him more. sorry, just looking at absurdism.

What I know of Camus I enjoy ... but existentialism and me don't cross paths well all the time, so I have to be in the mood to enjoy him.

The link's broken!

asemi: Yeah. I'll fix it when I get home (currently out of town).
lucas: Yeah, that's true. He's better than Sartre, that's for sure.
phi_: really? why?

lucas: From what I've read of both, Camus is just a better writer.
yeah, i'm not overly impressed by La Nausee.
