Hey guys so I have a question.
I have Ubuntu on the laptop and I connect to my wimax internet through my router running dd-wrt. I saw the firestarter package and though hey wouldnt that be neato running a firewall on my laptop. But then I figured dd-wrt got to have some sweetness to it.
The question is... Would it make sense to have a firewall going on both the laptop and the router? or the laptop only? or the router only?
I mean there is a chance that I could leave my house with my laptop and I would like to be semi safe... And I am not the only one that uses my connection here, I may have answered my own question here... Maybe not.
Other suggestions?

if you're using other networks sometimes, having a firewall on the laptop makes sense
