mine is getting filled up. i want a faster and larger one.

i currently own a lacie rugged 160gb. it's great.

i'm considering:

lacie brick
lacie black box
wd elements

have any info on these things?

i've dealt with tech/rma with both lacie and western digital. they are both super fast on rma. it seems like wd has more of a qa problem than lacie.

thoughts?

either hard drive prices have gone way down since when i was building or those are sold below cost.

i was going to suggest getting a drive and going the enclosure route but the design on those ones are pretty nice.

i'd go with the black box out of those three

style wise the black box looks nice, but I could see lr with a brick with p3!

no info though :(

i wonder if the black box would get all scratched up with the seemingly glossy surface

duct tape it!
