i've been wanting cheap, high quality bluetooth audio receivers.

example:
i want to setup my 2.1 speakers on a table in my apartment, but i don't want to be bound to them by the cable. instead, i want a little bluetooth receiver that i can plug into the speakers' 3.5mm input, then connect to them via bluetooth from my laptop.

last time i looked, the cheapest solution was at least $100. now there are solutions for around $50:

plantronics pulsar 260, ~$50

iogear bluetooth audio transport, ~$55

digiwave mcr02, ~$50

or how about the converse technology:

jabra bluetooth stereo for everyone, ~$35
