i'm gonna help google improve their software! yeah!

it's hard to find the page where you can submit issues, but it's here:
http://mail.google.com/support/bin/request.py

here's my first issue:

Brief Summary: Chat window loses focus when email is sent
What action were you performing:
1. I'm chatting with a friend in a chat window that is popped in (not popped out).
2. With the chat window left open, I compose an e-mail.
3. I click send to send the email. (It *does* *not* finish sending immediately.)
4. I click on the chat window again, while the email is sending, and start chatting with my friend again.
5. Mid-sentence, the email finishes sending, a message appears that says "Your message has been sent.", and the chat window that I am typing in loses focus.
6. Suddenly, because the chat window loses focus, my keystrokes are used as shortcut keystrokes, not chat keystrokes. So before I know it, terrible things are happening unintentionally!
What error/error message did you see: None; read above.

i thought i had another issue, but it turns out that it works fine. (when you delete a conversation from the current view, gmail pulls one more older message into the current page, so that you really are still viewing messages 101-200 and not 101-199.)
