so i'm editing a csv file. i'm entering dates!

it automatically converts them to:

thanks, excel, but i don't want that. so i open the "Format Cells..." dialog box, and choose general formatting:

39520.92153
39520.14028

what?! I WANT WHAT I ENTERED! i can't get it back! any help?

know what i hate more than anything? stupid software.

you can choose "date" cell types under format cells
then choose "time" to do it

dont choose general

i used to have to deal with this alot.

why does excel sometimes interpret "" as NOT NULL. FUCK
