I just cleaned out a bunch of my files and want to throw away pay stubs from years I've already paid taxes and various other old stuff, and I thought this would be a good way to do it.
I'm also thinking about going paperless relatively soon. I've started to just export PDFs of receipts from online transactions (financial aid, tax payments and submissions, etc.) and I'd like to consistently store everything digitally, I think.

haha if that was my plan I think I'd have opted for a slightly pricier shredder :).
you can upgrade eventually. you should put out a classified ad and undercut everyone else.
