thought i'd come here first to ask if any one is up for helping me create a website for my photography and personal projects.
I have no idea about how to do anything in regard to these things. I got a domain name.. thats about it so far. I am going to be too busy to try and try to wrap my head around everything that would go into this by myself.
I could probably manage to pay to have this done and for keeping it up, if anyone here is seriously up for it!

i could help. i'm sure dp could as well. sketch out what you want--individual page designs, how you want visitors to navigate through the site, etc.

I'd like to get things started with making a website. Once again, I have no idea what I need to do to get it all up and running. I've got a domain name purchased and just a basic outline of what I would like to have included in the contents.
I would like to know what I need to do next, I suppose :) I assume I need a place to host the website, and to start sketching out the basic layouts.

I think you should start with content, i.e., what do you want to put on the website?

-wedding(when i have stuff)

May split weddings into a separate category and lump all wedding info together (pricing, gallery, etc..)

i would talk to dc and see if he'd be willing to host your site. i could, but the setup might not be as friendly or reliable for your purposes.
i could set up a ciew wiki for you. you can edit it from the web, or edit files on the server. check out ciew.org for the interface
yeah, i think a wiki might be great for andyp. after getting all of the content up and organized, he could have it designed to his tastes.
would the interface be more customizable? Again i have no idea how to do any of that. Also, will i be able to upload photos?
i'd give you an account on the server so you can upload stuff over sftp

I have been extremely busy lately to do anything with this so far.. I am in the middle of moving out of my shitty apartment and trying to figure out the stolen stuff bs, and money issues, etc..
