i think free leech is a dumb idea for anything for trackers.
for example, i downloaded the what cd in both v0 and flac because it was free leech and i wanted to seed it to get some extra upload.

it is deadly for the economy. basically if you look at what's economy they have double the upload as download.
people get crappy ratios and demand that they have a freeleech, when clearly that is the wrong attitude and unsustainable. what probably won't have a freeleech for a *long time* as a result.

I'm a mod over on BN now and we ran freeleech for a while. The usual rules applied (ie. if you don't seed for 72 hrs. OR .65 ratio on that torrent, you get a warning. 5 warnings in 30 days, perma-ban)
