This thread is for the sharing of interesting photo processes/techniques!
I'm currently in an experimental photography class, where we'll be learning no less than 50

Mordançage:

It creates an image that is both positive and negative! Technically, the process creates chlorine gas, so my prof. has to take us off-campus (to her house) where we'll be signing wavers :-o

Bleach bypass?
I don't know many photographic processes.
how many will she do?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Photographic_processes
better yet, how many will she add to the list?
Alright so after looking at that list I noticed the palladiotype, which kinda caught my eye. Buy a 1oz brick of palladium and go at it for ultimate rare photographic process? :D

That looks sweet!
>how many will she add to the list?
I will add one, at least. I find it abhorrent that mordançage is not on the list. >:-|

Chemigrams!: similar to photograms, but instead of enlarger light you use the sun :-D
Developer is completely unnecessary with this process. Just fix, rinse, and go!
I'm playing with this process this weekend...it's incredible because you use plain old black and white print paper...but the chemicals in the objects you place on it turn it into color paper. (warmtone papers, especially)
An example of the chemical imprint a sunflower made on B&W paper, with an exposure of around
8 hours:

Pretty, huh :-o

nothing is wrong - what are you scared of?
I've never heard of mordançage specifically, but It seems like that type is popular. I've only done cyanotype, van dyke, liquid light, polaroid lifts, and polaroid transfers. It would be sweet to take that class :D

WOH! I want to take pictures out of a skull...
Actually, I know someone who made a working pinhole out of their own mouth...and the pictures were beautiful!
My pinhole shooting so far is quite amateur. Not nearly as inventive. :-P

It's really strange that you linked that, Danny. My department's photo blog just linked the same article on Sunday.
Did you know you can also develop film with really, really polluted water?

oh? but they didn't link it here! :P

Yeah those are just pics my classmate took while she was visiting. I went to Ripley's website, there's no apparent way of getting to more info on it. :(

it was published within the last week. so i'd imagine that subscribers are linking it around the web.
