There is a short story I read once about some guy and he went to a church revival. It was REALLY hot and he was debating with some kid to go up to the stage and testify because they wouldn't stop until every kid went up to the stage. The author was waiting for a "touch from god" and was waiting for it because his grandma didn't explain that it would be something inside. Eventually the author went up to the stage. At the end one of the lines is," I cried that night because I lied to my grandma, the church, and because I didn't believe in god anymore".
