Evening. No doubt. I have to work early, but I usaully get to bed around midnight or 1. I get more done at night.

... and let the Earth be silent after ye.
Late night. My usual bedtime is between 4AM -6AM and I'm up by noon or 1 PM, but I'm not fully functional until 6-7.

I am experimenting with polyphasic sleep, trying to get rid of the whole prime hours of wakefulness crap. too much of my time is spent in the waiting till I am fully functional to get anything done.

I sleep between 3 and 6 hours a day, somewhat polyphasically

yeah, i am not entirely convinced of its effectiveness. i am sure for some people it works great. the largest change for me is that i have decided to work, sleep, or paint whenever I feel like it rather than trying to structure my days and my nights.
