On scales from 1-10 I used to rank things this way. higher values (10) being more important in my life than lower values (1):
6 - friendship
8 - life, school, work
4 - family
3 - significant other (this is a pretty fickle value but I am just trying to average)
3 - personal activities, art, dance, languages, whatever

then I grew a little older and:
9 - friendship
7 - life, school, work
7 - family
3 - significant other
5 - personal activities, art, dance, languages, whatever

but now i don't know, maybe (thesis month - it's a shitpie)
3 - friendship
9 - life, school, work
3 - family
1 - significant other
4 - personal activities, art, dance, languages, whatever

i guess the key behind the preference changes is how much meaning a particular person, group of people, or thing lends to my life.

well maybe not just meaning, but also how much energy I have to alot to that particular thing

(sorry if this thread is a redundancy. I try to search for similar threads but there are just so many.)
