I wrote about this in my journal last night. I think my favorite place and time is at night in bed when I can't fall asleep and I put on music and read the lyrics or write in my journal. I feel really peaceful and alone with my thoughts, and it seems like tomorrow is only going to show up when I decide I'm ready for it (i.e., go to sleep).
I don't really have any outdoor places like this, unfortunately. there are spots on the subway with nice views that I really like, but nowhere I really feel comfortable or special going and just being there.

favorite place and time? passed out on a sand dune in brazil... drunk out of my mind to the point that I may die... and no caring... just staring at the blur of the stars and thinking... fuck everything life is pretty much awesome in spite of itself.

actually I can think of another one: Lake Winnipesaukee in New Hampshire. it's not so easy to get to as my bed, so it's more of a longer-term favorite place/time, like a vacation or something. I should go there this Winter; I don't think I've ever been there in the Winter.
One time after prom, we rented a lakehouse and had the dock as well. I remember sitting outside on the dock until dark and then bbq'ing with my buddies talking about the future. That was one of my faves. Everyone is too wrapped up in their own lives and drama to care anymore. I;m going to rent a lakehouse and invite everyone out one day. We'll see how that goes.
