i own the arc'teryx bora 80: http://www.rei.com/product/747131
it's a bit heavy, but great for long trips.

i'd like a daypack, especially for snowshoeing and skiing.
i'm eyeing the arc'teryx silo 18: http://www.rei.com/product/766746

I like it fine, I feel it's a great product for me. The price isn't too steep and I like how comfortable it is to wear and carry.

Downside is the packing. I'm all for smart packing and knowing where things are, but sometimes it's just inconvenient to have to unpack to reach certain things. So sometimes without a bottom compartment zipper it's inconvenient at times.

Luke: Your last two links are the same

Danny: What do you mean by bottom compartment zipper? Are you saying that, ideally, you would want the one, main compartment to be split into two separate ones? Or just that you would like a zipper on the bottom half in order to access lower items
