for some reason TurboTax wanted to charge me 15 dollars this year. also, some stupid company this year paid me 130 dollars as an independent contractor so I have to file a totally separate schedule (C) for this and also can't do a 1040EZ because of it. thanks, guys.

I did my taxes, and OWE $120 because I took out the money I saved up from Teacher Retirement Services. They (TRS) took taxes out when I cashed out the account, but apparently the government felt I wasn't fucked enough as is.
I didn't even make $20k last year (including the TRS payout), and my former roommate made just over $30k and got ALL of his taxes back (just over $1k). What the fuck.

I owe a little over 200 because my uni and the company I worked for through my uni (as an independent contractor) didn't take any taxes out of their payments to me. I should have caught this. woops. I can't wait to do taxes next year because I will have had only one job for the entire year.
i don't pay taxes :D
i'm not filing for 2008.
