today i found two notable things when walking home from school:
1. an orange and gray pny attaché 2 GB usb memory stick. it looked a bit like this:

2. a broken lighter with a SPAR logo.

I used to have one of those USB sticks, though it was green and only had half a gig.
Broken lighters fail at life.
Nice find though :)

My work gave me a USB drive. I have no use for it.
Today I found a 24" monitor (BenQ G2400WD) in the trash. The power button was broken, so I fixed it. It now works like a charm! :D

Be careful picking up "found" thumbdrives.
This is a highly well known and effective virus distribution method. It's been used to high degrees of success targeting military and intelligence facilities. But now it's just plain good as a culling targeted data technique for cyber crime.
Scenario of relevance:
My name is mikail sobrensky. I am from serbia. I use cheap chinese thumbdrives. I load them with virus that culls bank / credit card information. My cousin vladislov in romania makes fake cards which he ships to zimbabwe where several local contacts use the cards to generate revenue through ATMs and other methods.
