it's poetry in my mouth.
it has nothing to do with the red bull energy drink, except that it shares some branding. it's not even manufactured by the same company.
it's a cola made with cane sugar (sucrose, as opposed to high fructose corn syrup et al.), all natural flavoring, and caffeine from coffee beans.
at my grocer, they're about $1.40 for a 12oz can. to me it's worth it. but i contacted costco's buying office and suggested that they sell it. hopefully they do!
wow, i need to sleep.
note: apparently no one likes it except for me. i haven't found anyone in person who enjoys it. and
this av club article suggests that few people will like it.
i like the strong flavor, and i love the sucrose. when i drink it back-to-back with an american coke, i'm disgusted with the coke. i think the high fructose corn syrup just tastes awful. i know a lot of you here prefer mexican coke with cane sugar. i do too. i've always been loyal to rockstar energy drink, which only uses sucrose.
this week i'll buy some mexican cokes and some more red bull cola and see which i prefer.

hmm, I want to try this.
i bought a case of mexican coke from costco and they have this awful metallic residue on the bottle cap area of the bottle. i have to wipe it off pretty thoroughly and pour it into a cup if i don't want a mouth full of rust :\
i've seen that on mexican coke bottles too.
i'm jealous of your costco selling mexican coke! :(

... and let the Earth be silent after ye.
Yeah, that's what makes it Mexican Coke.
iron's good for you, now drink up!
i bought a mexican coke. i'll compare them
here soon.
i had one of these the other night and i liked it enough to get it again today!
i like it, but the after taste has a little too much of a taste memory for me. maybe part of it was how the one today didn't seem as carbonated or something. anyway i like it pretty well and i'll probably get it on occasion.
good find!

There is no substitute for mexican coca cola. Period.

I tried Red Bull Cola the other day... too bitter for my liking. Sticking to Mexican coke. \m/

I didn't like Red Bull's version at all. If it hadn't been so expensive, I might not have even finished it
:-o
Safeway has been out of red bull cola for a week or so.
were you getting into it?
I like it on occasion :]
Safeway got a new case of nine or so and I bought two. I got a whole sandwich this time at the deli also and it's enough to feed me for several days. Half sandwich is OK for future reference.

Don't Let Your Walls Down
when lr first started this thread town pumps were selling the big red bull cola's for like $1.13 a can. picked up a few. not too bad, nice alternate to coke or pepsi.
bump haha
I tasted this beauty like a month ago and it's considerably nicer than anything Coca Cola manufacture.
+1 for Red Bull.
just bought a 4 pack of rbc!
expensive stuff unfortunatly :(
I don't get enough dinner money to purchase it in the morning, my Mum is a cheapskate.

How old are you, Weasley?
16
however, dosen't stop my mum from underpaying me.
damnit they don't sell it in the shop on the way to the bus stop :(
regular red bull it is then.
dude how can you afford regular redbull? it's like twice as expensive
really?
my sister bought it this morning so I didn't know how much it was, £1.15 from one place I bought it from once though
> i've seen that on mexican coke bottles too.
i had bought numerous cases of mexican coke without an incident. but this latest case has this issue on all of the bottles so far.
i can wipe some of it off, but not all of it. i haven't noticed any taste from it, but i avoid it with my lips. maybe the residue on the bottles in this case is mostly dried coke and not much (if any) rust.
