it might just be me, but ttf is up on consumerism of goods--whether it's software, hardware, or anything else. i know that i research the hell out of most everything before i buy.

on Windows? depends. I use Firefox because of Opera's lack of SOCKS proxy support. otherwise I'd use Opera. Chrome felt weird to me and Safari I haven't really given a chance.

I loved Chrome but it kept crashing on me, so I'm back to the bloatware that is Firefox3.

I've never liked Opera. Never worked perfectly and just always seemed clunky. But, keep in mind, I haven't used it in nearly 5-ish years.

yeah, it's actually pretty slick lately. the lack of SOCKS support kills it so hard for me though.

I have Firefox 3.1. Rather nice, so I use it.

I installed opera 11 on debian last night. I am very impressed. so far it is noticeably quicker than chrome and I think I like the looks of it better. it also has a flashblock thing built in.
Opera has by far been the best browser for several years now.
Yeah, I mainly use surf for my browsing, but some websites cause horrendous memory leaks in it ... so my backup is also Opera 11.

After reading about Arch Linux, I kinda wanna go that route instead. It's like BSD/Linux.
