it has a windflap and a drawstring hem! :D

Don't Let Your Walls Down
that is a pretty good deal on the fleece
my coat is getting pretty worn, so i've been meaning to replace it. i have a north face coat that is one of thos dumb 3-in-1 type coats. it's good to have a separate shell and insulating layer, but i think it's dumb to have extra zippers to attach them. it just adds bulk.
so i bought the marmot fleece i linked above. it will be my new insulating layer. then i'll get a new shell sometime and i'll be set!
plus i'm going to be in missoula next week, so i can take advantage of the free shipping to an rei store. :D
it was difficult for me to decide on a color, so i just went with BURNISH.
marmot fleece for $40 <3
i picked up my marmot warmlight fleece jacket at the missoula rei store. the large was huge on me, though. so i returned it at the store and had them order a medium--i got the last one! but i had to pay $5.99 for shipping to bozeman, because i'm not going to missoula again to pick it up.
while at rei in missoula, i bought these things:
black diamond momentum al harness pkg $75 (usually $100)
msr packtowl xl $20 (usually $27)
gerber firecracker led flashlight $14 (usually $20)
thermarest prolite 3 regular stuff sack $4 (usually $15)
i'm pretty pleased with this all.
i hate taking a big towel with me when i go to natural hot springs. so the huge msr packtowl will be badass for such occasions. there are some hot springs in the area that require a hike, so the compactness will be much appreciated.
i've been wanting a harness for a while so i can do technical climbing instead of just bouldering.
and i was looking at flashlights for my car. this one seems decent, and it uses one aa battery. this is nice for me, because i try to buy items that use aa so i only have to own aa rechargeables.
\o/
LR do you know any sites or decent maps to look up hot springs on?
sorry, i don't.

long underwear! and maybe that sleeping bag I've been eyeing for ages (my grampa gave me a $500 check today)
are you doing capilene 3 (
b,
t) or the rei brand (
bs,
bl,
cs)? considering the prices are similar, i'd recommend capilene 3. the rei only has v-necks! :( but the rei brand has a camisole. :)
of note for me:
purple wool beanie
single-panel messenger bag
bike tights
dry bag

Good guesses. I seriously considered those silk REI ones, but decided on
these (in black) in the end. They won't catch as easily and I think they may be warmer. :)

I like that messenger bag.
