i don't have any machines with a serial port and an os running to use as a terminal (or do i?). after many tries at getting an ip from my (thanks asemi) soekris 4501 via dhcp, and failing while using nmap to scan different subnets to find the correct network on which those interfaces reside, i found a proprietary serial cable that attaches to my mobilepro 780! fortunately i have netbsd running on there, and was able to use the program 'cu' to tap into the soekris. turns out soekris is failing to load properly, due to read-only locks on the filesystem -- imposed to prolong the life of it's primary disk, a compact flash card. in failed attempts to boot into single user mode, i recalled setting up a zero second boot delay for security measures, which happens to be irreversible. i then forfeited this installation to upgrade to a new version and circumvent further complications (or do i?).
using tftpd, pxeboot, bsd.rd, i successfully load openbsd 4.5, with the added benefit of a memory filesystem to surmount the issue of compactflash card death-by-writes.

Yesterday: Got put on "sudden death" (scary movie sounds here) at work ... so, within the next 6 weeks if the managers decided I've fucked up (arriving late, not checking theatres often enough, etc) they can fire my ass. I went into the kitchen and was showered with praise and high-fives from the kitchen workers about my first "sudden death".
Today: After calling 7 movie theatres, I have a job interview/talk on Thursday! ... two streets over from my CURRENT job. Everytime I take a job it's farther away from my house than the previous one. :-/

modded out my bathtub against the plumber's wishes--now my tub doesn't catch hair anywhere in the slightest! i did this so i don't have to pull out disgusting hairballs by taking off the overflow plate. now all of the hair just goes down the drain and makes a mess in his pipes. now my tub uses one of these and one of these.

I think you should try for a better way to resolve your missing days. As it is I thought your images just hadn't loaded properly.
Also, the spacing between images on your verticals vs. horizontals is somewhat bothersome

I just think there needs to be a way to maintain the nice clean grid look you have going on. Like instead of just blankness include an empty square or something that tells us, yes, this was intentional.

Yeah, I saw that. I'd like to have as few lines of code as possible, so I don't plan on implementing it. You can probably tell sappho was a huge inspiration in other areas, though. :)

from yesterday morning to today I spent a lot of time creating filters and labels in gmail, and my inbox has decreased in size from 600-something messages to 4! I have it auto-label a lot of stuff (but not skip my inbox) so I can just click archive and it will gtfo of my inbox and stay labeled appropriately.
