i have always been interested in mass transit systems, despite living in two cities where mass transit is notoriously bad (london, on and kingston, on). i loved the underground when i was in london, uk, and i like the subway here in toronto as well (i am a metrophile). on sunday i moved downtown where the subway is less necessary, so i think i might start riding the streetcar to work :(
subway rules! I take it to work almost every day. I also take the train to my mom's house in the suburbs. it's getting expensive here, though, because our transit company is in a serious amount of debt and sucks at managing itself. luckily I get a monthly subway pass for ~20 USD through work. if I bought it normally it would be 59!!
