I know some of us exercise and need a little motivation. So for starters, I'll be sure to place my first fitness goal here:
Burn 1000 calories this week, then 2000 calories every week from here on out strictly on running.

Would anyone be interested in a non-flash version of this site? At least for tracking my progress, not anyone elses. I have found the XML data file and I want to start parsing this shit and outputting graphs and more detailed stats WITHOUT the need for flash.

I used to be able to run constantly for the length of an entire soccer game. I'd like to get back to that point.
I would like to be able to run (well quick jog) 10 miles constantly and be able to do 100 push-ups without stop. I don't know how much training I will have the chance to get into this summer :( I would be interested in a web application. Sometimes I write little excel documents that keep track of that stuff and stick with it for a week before getting bored with it. But I am quite competitive if anybody wants to track similar goals.

It's an old past-time me and my friends picked up when doing our troublemaking years ago. We always walked the bayous, which is what we did the other night, so it was a blast from the past.
Plus, we both may be homeless soon, like really homeless, so we were looking at places to potentially set up camp in the future without drawing too much attention to ourselves.

i haven't really done it recently but i've done a couple hikes down in southern utah and the grand canyon that were like 75% sand trails.

ugg... I was swimming last week and I think I pulled a tendon in my groin. now it is very hard for me to sprint or do certain stretches without pain. either pulled a muscle or I have a hernia. that would suck. i don't get it though. swimming is all non-impact. and i was just moving along at a slow pace, which makes me think hernia.
that's odd. i wouldn't think hernia either, though--they usually require a lot of strain on a particular muscle.
any idea if a cramp can tear a tendon? it was a kind of odd feeling. it felt like a muscle cramp was coming on then it just stopped and suddenly i was sore. at first it didn't seem like a big deal and then it was worse the next day which seems like a torn tendon. i royally tore a tendon in my ankle when i was in estonia and at first it didn't feel that bad but it steadily got worse.

started running again this week. doing a daily run + my 3 sets of pull ups daily, i've already noticed a huge increase in my overall fitness
Biking to school and work every day!
Starting climbing (shoes are in today).
Hiking on the weekends.
biked the tour de troit (last saturday) - metric century (62 ish miles)
biking everyday to class from the house - 5 miles round-trip
working out 20 minutes every day with weights and 20 minutes additional cardio
running a 5k on october 3rd.
still haven't done 100 consecutive pushups

It is man. I'm not doing P90X though. I can speak on Insanity's behalf. This shit is legit. Maybe too legit to quit. It's hard and you will be pouring sweat through the warm up. but like everything, it only takes 3 days to get used to it.

From what I've heard people do, they stay on the program and just improve. Others move on to p90x to build mass. I have no idea what I will do. I doubt I will be RIPPED. I love bad food.
My fitness goal of 2010 is to get exhausted as few times as possible ;)

The fact that you admitted you like veins makes me want to get ripped even more. Not so much because of the fact that you are hot beyond belief, but mostly due to the fact that even artistic, articulate women, who do not seem to be concerned with vanity, are reduced to senseless little girls when a physical trait catches their eye. I dunno if I do... I don't get very angry often... and when I do it's usually a blind rage and I don't look in the mirror until I wake up the next morning with torn clothes in a strange location. Usually I just move on to the next town as this music starts to play...

Girls like guys for many of the same reasons that guys like girls. I don't think there is this huge difference in the general characteristics guys and girls look for in the opposite sex (or same sex, for that matter).
That said, I HAVE noticed the girls I know do tend to prioritize awesome personalities over awesome bodies. So really, all the awesome guys out there with mediocre looks should be pleased.
