then you can fit (10) 3.5" hard drives and (1) 5.25" optical drive.
with ten drives, i'd do this:
use (2) for raid1 (os installation)
use (8) for raid10
or with a hardware controller:
use (2) for raid1 (os installation)
use (8) for raid60

raid 60 would be fun. its been years since i've actually built a computer.
I still have the dp super case downstairs....
I am so tempted to laser cut a case out of acryllic at the workshop...
