I'm at work with nothing to do. Time seems to have stopped. I'm sleepy as hell despite having had enough coffee for a week or so today, and nothing is happening in the internets... Help!

Killing time at work is as much of an art form as it is a hobby.

Here are some strategies that have worked for me in the past...

Read BOFH : Bastard Operator from Hell
Read News ( BBC, CNN, Local istaverse, Twitter, BoingBoing, Gizmodo )
Look at stuff to buy ( uncrate, ebay, whatever )
E-comics ( penny-arcade, xkcd, vgcats, ... the list is endless )
Streaming audio ( Last.fm, pandora, winamp radio shuffle mode! )
Play flash games ( Kill yourself in under five minutes is a great one! )
Code something bizarre ( Perl, Python, Processing is easy )
Start a blog
Write a short story
Take lots of coffee breaks ( coffee, hot cocoa, ice cream, book store, park... )
Troll a forum, or a comment thread
Get addicted to IRC
Get addicted to a video game
Call your mom
Call someone else's mom
Write A-Team Fan Fiction
Imagine what would happen if a twilight fan conference, a harry potter fan conference, and a star trek fan conference ended up in a three way brawl.
Take up religion.
Write a book.
Draw a comic.
Find a friend at work to goof off with. ( Hanging out with building engineers, and facilities guys is great for this )
....

I could go on, but that should be enough.
