The first two are pretty choice spots. Philz specializes in brewed coffee. There's a location now in San Jose. It started in San Francisco and is spreading. Barefoot is a nice spot, fun place to hang out and study. They have a larger variety of coffee preparations; espresso stuff, iced drinks and what not. Their cappuccinos are quite good. Coffee society is just okay. Service is just okay. It's near to me so sometimes I hit it up. It's right along a really nice bike path so why not.
