I'm selling my mytouch 3g. it's white. has a few scratches on the back but is in otherwise great shape. I only used it for about six months I think. comes with the 4 gb sd card and charger. no sim, obviously.

That keyboard would be neat if it had a "Windows key" ... I like using the Windows key for WM keybind because I can be fairly sure no other application uses them ... (I had some conflict problems with ALT keys ...).

That mainboard won't run on my CPU, the socket's different (T8300 is a laptop socket, PGA4-something, not LGA755), the memory is also different, since they're SO-DIMMS.

The X230 is virtually new. A friend got it for his dad, but he couldn't figure out how to use it. It was probably only used a few times.

while it's a good deal, i can afford it, and i would love this thing to death, minimalism bias consuming me right now and i don't think i can justify it (also, carrying two laptops while traveling, plus tablet, kind of outweighs the benefits of having small laptops).

that's mighty tempting considering x301s go for not much less than $450 on eBay. but looking at the x230 keyboard next to the x220 I stand by my derision of the chiclets (it's not even those so much, it's the stupid function keys, missing pause/break, weird page up/down and print screen locations, etc.). think I'm gonna hold out a couple of years for an x220.
Pretty much all laptops seem to suck these days. If you have non-sucking (working) laptop from a few years ago, I would hold on to it ...

Right. at 11AM I have a job interview, this is my second interview, and I'm supposed to do an assignment, not sure how long that'll take (I forgot to ask...) but I doubt it'll be shorter than 2-3 hours.
It's also almost a 2 hour trip (& 2 hours back), so if you just have time for a quick drink, then that doesn't really seem worth the journey... :-(

ended up going, amsterdam was nice. was super jet lagged the whole time and think i only had on average 1.5 meals a day mostly consisting of stroopwafels free from the hotel and at the conference i attended
Cool. Getting as much as you can for free is definitely the Dutch attitude (It's called 'going Dutch' with a reason), so you'll fit right in.

20 euro seems like a fair ttf price. Shipping to the states would be 10 euro, so that makes a total of 30 euro. That's USD41.52. Since 42 is my favourite number (obviously), we'll round it to that :)
