It's fun to dress up! This year I'm attending a goth party the night before ("emo kids will be mocked and shunned") and going out to the bars the night of. Normally I'm not into the bar scene, but seeing hundreds of intoxicated pirates, "policewomen"/"softball players"/"devils" (sluts), witty phrases, and children's book characters all trying to have conversations with each other is entertaining even to me.
My roommate is part of a big group of our friends going as characters from Alice in Wonderland. She's the Queen of Hearts. :)

i usually don't dress up but i do go to the bars. i got talked into dressing up this year, though it's nothing special.
I hate dressing up but I really like handing out candy. last year a kid said, "see you next Halloween!" so cute.

Historically halloween has not been kind to me. And this year I literally have no costume and no plans and it's like 5 days away... so... jeez...
We'll see how that turns out. However I do like the heart of the holiday... dress up like a freak and party your ass off once a year.... yeah I am all for that.

I'm not like a huge fan of halloween.. been a couple years since I dressed up.. I was a creepy disco dude with an afro (made with my own hair, no wig) and some big shoes.

I'm getting all gothed out and will probably just re-do the costume the next night, too. One handy thing about the theme: an ex used to wear goth stuff so I don't have to buy anything except (possibly) black hair spray. And fake eyelashes. Because I think that would be fun.
