my sister bought a ton of stuff for my mom that I'm splitting the cost of with her. that was a terrible sentence. and we got my mom a couple of CDs. nothing too spectacular.
I got my sister a book and wrote a nice note about how I enjoy our literary conversations inside. she wants to be a high school English teacher.
I bought my grandpa a book of photos/narratives of cross-Canada rail travel, because he always wanted to take a passenger train across Canada.
I bought my dad X-Files DVDs. don't know what I'm going to buy him when I run out of seasons of this.
