the law is no protection
yeah. I haven't done one of these in a while. the checks take literally forever.
and sometimes they don't come. i mailed in a couple of rebates to kingston one time. they only refunded me one of the items and told me that i had not sent the packing slip from the second item. both the items were on the same packing slip, i had made a photocopy. but when i tried to call their service number it said the number had been disconnected. eventually i found a real number and left a message and four or five weeks later someone help person called me back... i don't know why i do these things. only mail in rebate that was substantial was when i bought a hp desktop four years ago. they sent me like $150.
i want a
sandisk 4gb extreme sdhc card.

this deal. if you buy one, it's $35 shipped. if you buy two, they are $30 each. if you buy three, they are $25 each.
damn deals like this are too tempting. i hate these mail-in rebates.
does anybody know at what speed the x200s can read/write SDHC cards?
probably 60 MiB/s, which is the throughput of usb 2.
fuck that shit. i can get a sandisk ultra 4gb with amazon prime (free 2-day shipping) for $13.50.
that's all i want. (mine broke, so i kinda need one.)
i received a check from d-link within four weeks of submittal.
zipzoomfly took over twelve weeks.
i'm still waiting on rebates from sandisk and newegg.
the newegg rebate check came from antec (i guess it was a manufacturer offer exclusive with newegg). it took eight weeks.
i also received a $20 visa debit card from sandisk, which only took about six weeks. it sucked, though, because they don't permit a cash advance on the card, unlike many other such cards.
in conclusion, all of my outstanding rebate refunds have been received.
4 weeks: d-link
6 weeks: sandisk
8 weeks: antec
12 weeks: zipzoomfly
