becky got me the twemco al-30 black flip clock for christmas.
i feel like it completes me. honestly.
the sound it makes is difficult for me to describe. i love it. i think it's especially fantastic next to my computer. i tend to forget about time when i'm really involved on my computer. the flip clock adds a sense of time, so i don't lose myself in my computing endeavors.
right now it is set to flip perfectly on the
time.nist.gov minute. (my heart melts at the thought of this.)
i think i'll have to get the
qd 35 one day.
p.s. don't forget
this review! :)

I tried to convince my old employer to give me their cesium tubes when they "expired".
No joy. Would have been nice to have my own atomic clock.
i don't know. i think it's pretty close. i gave up at some late hour last night. i think i took too much lorazepam last night. i'm having a hard time recalling many of the happenings of the night.
well, I remember spending 18 minutes trying to sync it to your squeezebox. hope it's close, now!
sigh (at the last three posts and the original post)

i still want the qd-35.

white or
yellow from "revive home."

the series 170 and 1700 clocks are even cooler (weekday spelled out, gigantic). see
the mfg site.
do they make noise when they flip? i would love one for my home office environment, but i am worried it would be annoying.
it does, but it's very quiet. i love the faint sound of passing minutes.
